Our Story
Our VFW Post is in the heart of downtown Buda and was established in June of 2017.
While all are welcome to our Page, Membership in the VFW is restricted to any active or honorably discharged officer or enlisted person who is a citizen of the United States; Who has served in its armed forces "in any foreign war, insurrection or expedition, which service shall be recognized by the authorization or the issuance of a United States military campaign medal."
We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 PM. Meetings are held at City Hall 405 Loop St. Buda, TX. Meetings are also virtually streamed via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.
The cost for membership is $45/year, or ask us about Life Membership. If you are interested in joining the VFW and meet all eligibility requirements, please send a message, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
VFW is to speed up the rehabilitation of the nation's disabled and needy veterans, assist veterans' dependents, widows, and orphans, and promote Americanism by employing education in patriotism and constructive service to local communities. We are a Veterans Organization and a Community Organization.
